Guys like a challenge. Especially when it comes to girls. They love the chase. They find the girl that is so out of their reach that they know there is no possible way that they will have her, yet they still try. Many times, they're like hamsters on a hamster wheel, going around and around trying to reach something...when there's never actually anything there for them to reach. It's really sad though. They play love like it's just a game of cat and mouse, when love should never be a game. What I don't understand is why those guys never go for the girl that is already there. That girl that sticks beside them and tells them to go for it, when deep down they are crying inside because they love that boy with every part of their existence. And so often that girl gets up the nerve to tell the boy how she feels...only to get a 'that's sweet' or a 'wow, you're making me blush'. Now you may think this girl is fool...but truthfully she has more balls than that guy that just broke her heart. And though she's dying inside, she stays beside him, trying her hardest to make him happy. And that boy just brushes off those words like they were nothing and tries to find another challenge.
Ok after the long absence from blogging, I think no one also miss me, so never mind.
On Friday was the release of the o level results. Went to sch dressed in the uniform for the last time ever. Walked around the place where I spent 4 years of my life, making new friends, getting scolding from teachers, standing outside class, playing soccer and all the nonsense. Finally the time came for us to enter the hall and listen to the dreaded talk before the results were finally released to us. The agonising wait lasted the duration of about 35 minutes, it certainly didn’t feel like 35 minutes, it felt like it was the longest time in my life. Though not as long as the wait for the bus, to go home, at a certain moment a certain 1 year plus years ago. It felt like eternity.
The new principal announced the top scorers, with the usual suspects claiming the topspots. According to the P, our batch did better than the previous 1. I was sitting next to the Umesh who apparently got 7 A1. makin me feel stupid.
I walked up to the table and mdm ong handed me the results. I never see at first, super scared la, then I took a peek and see quite a few a’s so not scared liao, then I see I got 5 a’s, not that bad la.
My L1 R5 kenna is 11, I think I get b3 for e maths is damn stupid of me la.wad an idot, who gets b for maths. Dun wanna talk abt a maths.
I just want thank god for the results that were better than expected and without his grace and his divine strength that gave me the perseverance to chiong for the exam, and the wisdom he has provided me.
